Abstract

Trapeziid crabs inhabiting Acropora corals from three major East African collections were examined. Two new species, Tetralia innamorata and Tetralia vanninii are described and three previously recognized species, Tetralia cinctipes Paulson 1875, Tetraloides heterodactyla (Heller 1861) and Tetraloides nigrifrons (Dana 1852) are discussed. A key separating these five species is provided. © 1988 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
