Abstract
Three new iridoid glucosides, 8-0-(p-coumaroyl)-harpagide, 6’-O-(p-coumaroyl)-procum-bide and procumboside, have been isolated from the roots of Harpagophytum procumbens DC., together with three known iridoid glucosides, harpagide, harpagoside, and procumbide. Procumboside is a novel iridoid glucoside having an ether linkage between C-3 and C-6. © 1983, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
