Abstract

InInjuries to the ischiosural musculature account for 12% of all injuries to soccer players. The aim of this systematic review is to present the current methodology used during the rehabilitation process in soccer players with respect to injuries to the ischiosural region. For this purpose, a search was carried out using Google Scholar, Pubmed and Sportdiscus platforms including a time frame from 2011 to May 2021. Inclusion criteria included soccer players, in addition to including only studies with intervention. An analysis of 7 studies was carried out, in which it has been possible to observe how a multifactorial approach, acting on coadjuvant components and with the aim of improving the return to play process, offers greater efficacy in the return to competition. During the rehabilitation process it is necessary to identify synergies in sport-specific movement patterns in order to offer the player an optimal recovery.
