Eliminación del efecto de la covariable en los diseños de análisis de covarianza

Abstract

[In this article, we present two procedures followed in experimental research designs to eliminate the effect of the covariate before the hypothesis of mean difference is put to contrast between the differents treatments of the independent variable which are being subjected to analysis. The first procedure follows the methodological process suggested by the statistical lay-outs underlying the Ancova. The second one is the short procedure which can generally be found in hand books. Its application does not permit to realize the progress of the implicit process. By comparing both procedures, the reader can understand much better the underlying assumptions in the Ancova.]
