Single dose dipyrone (metamizole) for acute postoperative pain

Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the efficacy and adverse effects of a single dose of dipyrone for acute postoperative pain using methods that permit comparison with other analgesics evaluated in standardised trials using almost identical methods and outcomes.
