Abstract

In this study, the aim is to determine the impact of training programs and technological resources on reading comprehension by conducting a literature research review on Scopus and Web of Science databases. The importance of reading comprehension in education and its influence on learning is highlighted. A systematic review of 11 articles is conducted following the PRISMA statement with meta-analysis, including primary school students (ages 6-12). The results indicate improvements in reading comprehension with such interventions, albeit with variability in effectiveness. The results pinpoint the relevance of using educational technology to encourage the acquisition of reading and writing skills in primary school students. In conclusion, there is emphasis on the need to research technological resources that promote reading comprehension, underscoring the ongoing importance of digital evolution in education. Keywords:
