Abstract

Comments on an article (see record 2004-19115-013) by Shaila Misri et al, which studied whether the addition of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to standard antidepressant therapy offers additional benefits in the treatment of postpartum depression with comorbid anxiety disorders. The current author suggests that the results of this study are not generalizable to the majority of women with postpartum depression and anxiety.
