Abstract

A large number of organizations are incorporating tools called digital enablers (IoT, Cloud Computing, 3D Printing, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Vision Technologies) as part of the processes of digital transformation towards Industry 4.0. In particular, within vision technologies, augmented reality can be analyzed as a tool that integrates virtual elements that enrich it into a real environment. One of the instances in which augmented reality is applied are the so-called AR Books, which can be conceived as (real) physical books enriched with software applications that are accessed through bookmarks. However, the development of this type of applications nowadays is done in an artisanal way, which brings as a consequence low indicators of maturity, productivity and discipline in the software development process of this type. The central scope of this article is to describe and test a method for the construction of AR books and, in a complementary way, to validate the usability of the product through the verification of emotive neuroseigns with the emotive insight device.
