Abstract

Pseudobrookite oxide Fe2TiO5 was synthesized by the solid state reaction. Synthetic pseudobrookite (Fe2TiO5) was prepared from high purity hematite (Fe2O3) and rutile (TiO2) through conventional powder processing methods. This paper reports a synthetic way to yield a fine pseudobrookite powder suitable for specimen consolidation and sintering. © 1991, The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry. All rights reserved.
