Abstract
The reduced quality of the soil so that it can no longer function according to its designation is caused by pollution. Soil pollution is a very critical thing at this time, everything we get comes from the soil and returns to the soil. Humans as khalifatullah are given the mandate to maintain and maintain the order of life on earth, including nature. Nature and humans are inseparable units. The interaction between humans and their natural environment can be either positive or negative. Pollution in the environment caused by human activities is one example of negative interactions between humans and nature. Bioremediation is one of the efforts to preserve the nature of God’s creation. In the interpretation of Al-Misbah Q.S Al-A’raf: 56, Allah forbids any damage on earth and orders His servants to guard and maintain it. In bioremediation strategies, environmental improvement can eliminate the risk of long-term damage, in contrast to remediation using chemicals. In addition, the use of bioremediation is easy to implement, inexpensive, and can be implemented anywhere. Based on several studies that have been done, it can be said that bioremediation can reduceharmful compounds in the soil due to pollution.
