Abstract

Abstract : This community service activity aims to apply the concept of recycling plastic waste through Ecobrick innovation in supporting sustainable tourism infrastructure. The problem faced is an increase in plastic waste which damages the environment in the tourism area, especially in the Padang Mulia Village. The purpose of this service is to educate local communities and tourism stakeholders about the importance of managing plastic waste through ecobricks. The methods applied include training in collaboration with local communities and tourism authorities. A total of approximately 50 participants, including local residents, tourism actors, and students were involved in this activity. Evaluation was carried out through questionnaires before and after the event as well as observing positive impacts on the local environment. The results achieved include increasing understanding of plastic waste management, increasing the percentage of soft skills and hard skills, as well as increasing economic value through creativity in making ecobrick-based products. this program was successful not only in terms of implementation, but also with support data and measurable positive impacts on the environment and local economy.   Keywords: Waste recycling, Ecobrick, Tourism.
