Abstract

Training of young teachers in engineering colleges has certain particularity. Most of them who graduated from their school do not have normal background and have a lot of teaching and research tasks. TPCK theory has very important directive significance to teacher professionalization which clears the relationship among technology in teaching, teaching method and the content of subject. The clarity of these relations indicates the direction of the cultivation of young teachers' teaching ability in engineering colleges. The platform provides a wealth of training resources for teacher training; organizes teachers to form a learning community through the establishment of platform-related courses; closely follows industry issues and pushes industry practice activities for teachers. Based on the analysis of the status of young teachers in engineering colleges, taking the TPCK theory as a guide, a teacher training platform was designed to provide individualized learning choices for teachers, to improve the efficiency of training, and to shorten the training cycle for young teachers.
