Abstract

Pengetahuan pasien tentang hipertensi penting untuk menentukan langkah pencegahan serta pengobatan hipertensi. Tingkat pengetahuan yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengobatan hipertensi. Media audiovisual merupakan media edukasi yang memiliki efektivitas yang baik untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan karena merangsang lebih banyak indera. Desain penelitian menggunakan rancangan one group pre test and post test dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 63 orang. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah video tentang hipertensi dan kuesioner pengetahuan hipertensi Hypertension Fact Quisionnare ( HFQ). Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji testData diolah secara analisis univariat dan bivariat Hasil penelitian dari 63 responden didapatkan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan pasien sebelum diberikan edukasi adalah sebesar 6,95 dan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan setelah diberikan edukasi adalah sebesar 9,10 dan didapatkan hasil p value 0,001(<0,05) yang artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan pasien hipertensi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi melalui media audio visual di Puskesmas Sambirejo. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Pengetahuan, Media audiovisual ABSTRACT Patient knowledge about hypertension is important to determine steps to prevent and treat hypertension. A high level of knowledge can affect the success of hypertension treatment. Audiovisual media is an educational medium that has good effectiveness for increasing knowledge because it stimulates more senses. This study used a one group pre test and post test design with a total sample of 63 people. The research instrument used was a video about hypertension and a hypertension knowledge questionnaire. Hypertension Fact Questionnare (HFQ). The results of the study were analyzed statistically using a test test. The results of the study from 63 respondents obtained that the average level of knowledge of patients before being given education was 6.95 and the average level of knowledge after being given education was 9.10 and the p value was 0.001 (<0.05), which means that there is an effect There was a significant difference between the knowledge level of hypertension patients before and after being given education through audio-visual media at the Sambirejo Health Center.
