Effect of hydrocolloid dressing combined with low molecular weight heparin and calcium on scar hyperplasia in burn patients with venous thromboembolism

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of hydrocolloid dressing combined with low molecular weight heparin calcium on scar hyperplasia in burn patients with venous thromboembolism. A retrospective analysis was made on 98 patients with burns complicated with venous thromboembolism in Renmin Hospital, Hubei University of Medicine from January 2020 to April 2021. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into a control group (48 cases) and a research group (50 cases), who were given low molecular weight heparin calcium combined with routine treatment and hydrocolloid dressing on the basis of the control group. The wound healing time, dressing change times and infection symptom regression time in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P .05).
