Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in education, reshaping teaching methodologies and learning experiences across the globe. Beyond automating tasks or personalizing content delivery, AI-supported classroom activities have demonstrated significant potential in cultivating essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. This article examines the role of AI-enhanced learning strategies in promoting higher-order thinking among students, exploring theoretical underpinnings, practical applications, challenges, and implications for educators worldwide. Drawing from global perspectives and recent studies, it highlights how AI can shift classroom practices from rote memorization to dynamic, inquiry-based learning that empowers students to analyze, evaluate, and innovate.
