How to conduct online survey experiment in first step?

Abstract

This paper provides several guidelines to conduct an online survey experiment. Recently, the number of studies which use randomized survey experiment has been increased in social science. The survey experiment has the advantage of being able to conduct at a lower cost, however, some researchers have less information to conduct the survey experiment. Also, since the survey experiment is recognized as one of the new methods in Japan, the guideline or agreements are not shared in each field. This paper explain outlines of conducting the survey experiment and points to note based on the experience of the authors.
