On the Rankin-Selberg method for functions not of rapid decay on congruence subgroups

Abstract

In this work we apply the Rankin-Selberg method to automorphic forms of congruence subgroups which are not of rapid decay. As an example, we obtain a simple proof of a generalized Maass-Selberg relation. © 1997 Academic Press.
