Abstract
This research aims to evaluate the role of teacher facilitators in implementing the independent curriculum at the high school level in Depok City. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature, with data collection through literature review and interviews. The teacher facilitator education program is an initiative to train teachers in leadership and as learning leaders. This program includes online training, workshops, conferences, and mentoring for six months for prospective Teacher Facilitators. Although involved in this program, teachers still carry out their teaching duties. The role of teacher facilitators involves promoting the holistic development of students with a Pancasila student profile, which includes being faithful, devout, having noble morals, being creative, able to collaborate, having a global diversity spirit, critical thinking, and independence. They also function as coaches for fellow teachers in student-centered learning and serve as role models and agents of transformation in the education ecosystem. Research findings indicate that teacher facilitators need to have the ability to be independent teachers who not only focus on the content of the independent curriculum but also emphasize practical and innovative applications, ensuring the goals of the independent curriculum implementation are fully achieved.
