Abstract
The widespread adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies presents considerable challenges in terms of security, vulnerability, and privacy. This paper conducts a comprehensive review of IoT applications, focusing on emerging trends and their wide-ranging impacts. Emphasis is placed on critical security issues, advocating for strong measures to mitigate attacks and improve system resilience. The paper highlights innovative attack mitigation strategies and the role of secure routing in upholding data integrity and network resilience. It examines the applications of deep learning approaches in enhancing IoT security and efficiency. The paper explores the interaction between technological progress and security issues in IoT, culminating with a call for ongoing research and development to advance security protocols and leverage new technologies, addressing the evolving IoT landscape.
