Abstract
An analysis of the factors influencing populations of the moth, Chlenias sp., is given with respect to the host tree, parasitism, predation and disease. The phenologies of these various agents are given, together with an account of their general behaviour and effectiveness. Predisposition of the host tree to attack by the woodwasp, Sirex noctilio F., following defoliation, is also discussed. Copyright © 1978, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
