Abstract

Testing of pavement deflection using the Falling Weight Deflectometer is a test that has been used extensively throughout the world. The purpose of this study was to determine the elastic modulus of flexible pavement in the Flexible Pavement Systems (FPS) profile with the Bous- sinesq method. The testing location in this study was at the Raya Ngelom City of Surabaya, East Java Province. The results of this study obtained the elastic modulus equation for each pavement layer which had a good correlation with FWD testing deflection. A good model equation is a power regression model with a value of Y = 216.51x-1 where Y is a pavement elastic modulus and X is a pavement deflection value.
