Abstract

A new and simple gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method has been developed for simultaneous determination of estradiol valerate (EV) and medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) in a tablet formulation. The validation of the proposed method was carried out for selectivity, linearity, accuracy, precision, recovery, limits of detection and quantification. The developed method can be used for routine quality control (QC) analysis of titled drugs in combination in tablet formulation. 2010 © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
