Abstract

This contribution reports a study of the preparation of pure and doped delafossite-type material CuInO2 using pulsed laser deposition. A series of films have been prepared at different oxygen partial pressures. X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) has been used to characterise the microstructure of the films. The results show that the structure of the films is extremely sensitive to the preparation conditions. © 2010 IOP Publishing Ltd.
