Abstract
This study analyzes farmers' attitudes towards the attributes of the Sintanur rice seed variety produced by PT Sumber Alam Sutera, as well as evaluating their satisfaction with the seed. The factors considered by farmers when choosing seeds include seed price, resistance to pests and diseases, germination rate, productivity (harvest yield), and seed availability. The research sample consisted of 30 farmers who have used this seed, and data was measured using a Likert scale. The results indicate that farmers place the highest priority on seed availability, followed by seed price, productivity, resistance to pests and diseases, and resistance to lodging. These attributes are considered very important by farmers when selecting seeds. However, despite the importance of these attributes, the performance of the seed in some areas still requires improvement. Resistance to pests and diseases, and seed availability, showed relatively good performance, while seed price and productivity were rated lower. Farmers feel that although the seed performs well in some aspects, there are areas that need improvement, particularly in terms of price and harvest yield. Overall, farmers are satisfied with the Sintanur rice seed, but there is room for improvement. The study recommends that the company focus on improving performance in the areas of seed price and productivity to better meet farmers' expectations and increase their satisfaction.
