Abstract

Abstrak Blotong adalah limbah padat yang dihasilkan dari stasiun pemurnian dengan mekanisme penapisan nira kotor pada vacuum filter dengan nira kotor yang terdapat pada door clarifier, yang telah diberi bahan-bahan tambahan. teknologi yang digunakan dalam mengolah limbah blotong yaitu teknologi digestion. Proses digestion dapat berjalan secara optimal, efektif dan efisien dengan memperhatikan kandungan C/N ratio, suhu, pH, dan faktor pendukung lainnya. Proses digestion memerlukan tabung reaktor untuk melakukan prosesnya, bahan yang dimasukkan dalam reaktor divariasikan dengan komposisi perbandingan blotong dan kotoran sapi sebagai bahan baku teknologi digestion yaitu : 100 % : 0%, 90% : 10%, 80% : 20 %, 70 % : 30 %, 60 % : 40 %, 50 % : 50 %. Sedangkan untuk inokulum sebagai starter dalam proses biogas dimasukkan sebanyak 30 % dari total volume bahan, hasil dari campuran tersebut akan menghasilkan bahan bakar alternatif bagi masyarakat untuk kedepannya. Berdasarakan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi karakteristik bahan yakni C/N Ratio, pH, Dry Content, Volatil Solid, BOD, COD tertinggi yaitu 44,2438; 5,1; 1,0936%; 0,2462%; 116,0000 ppm; 954,9120 ppm. Kadar metan tertinggi yakni 50882.94 ppm Komposisi yang terbaik untuk optimaslisasi pemanfaatan limbah blotong menjadi biogas sebagai bahan bakar alternatif yaitu pada variasi kedua dengan konsentrasi metan tertinggi. Abstract Blotong is a solid waste produced from a refining station with a filtering mechanism for dirty sap in a vacuum filter with dirty roomie on a door clarifier, which has been added with additional ingredients. Blotong waste processing with digestion technology in the manufacture of new renewable energi is a very effective and efficient solution. The digestion process can run optimally, effectively and efficiently with regard to the content of C / N ratio, temperature, pH, and other supporting factors. The raw materials used are blotong from PT. Madu Baru Madukismo Yogyakarta. The raw material is mixed with cow dung and inoculum as a starter in the process of breeding methane bacteria. After all the ingredients are mixed then put in a reaktor called a digester with a fermentation time of 50 days and an observation of the temperature, production, and content of methane in biogas is carried out. The materials put in the reaktor varied with the composition of the blotong and cow manure, namely: 100%: 0%, 90%: 10%, 80%: 20%, 70%: 30%, 60%: 40%, 50%: 50 %. As for the inoculum as a starter in the biogas process, 30% of the total volume of the material is included. The purpose of this study is expected to be able to produce biogas with the optimal amount and quality of gas as an alternative fuel for the community. Based on the results of the study obtained information on the characteristics of the ingredients namely C / N Ratio, pH, Dry Content, Volatile Solid, BOD, The highest COD is 44.2438; 5.1; 1.0936%; 0.2462%; 116,0000 ppm; 954.9120 ppm. The highest methane content is 50882.94 ppm. The best composition for optimizing the utilization of blotong waste into biogas as an alternative fuel is the second variation with the highest methane concentration.
