Abstract

The study of the scorpions collected in the ecological station of Lamto (Ivory Coast) revealed the existence of three species for the area: one belonging to the Scorpionidae family: Pandinus imperator (C. L. Koch, 1842) and the two others belonging to the Buthidae family: Babycurus kirki (Pocock, 1890) and Butheoloides annieae sp. n.: this last one is described. Some comments on the taxonomic position of the new species are included.
