Abstract

Since the early 1980s the concept of integration in water resource planning has received considerable research attention. Despite this research focus, there does not appear to be a recent and comprehensive source which discusses those “ingredients” or “tenets” which are necessary components of an integrated water resource planning process. Such a list is presented in this paper. A suitable case study is assessed from the perspective of these tenets to help determine their validity. © 1995 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
