Abstract

We introduce the effect of continuous wave system towards high altitude electromagnetic pulse(HEMP). We also introduce the construction of continuous wave system, test method and data processing in detail, and take a whip antenna as the research object. We obtain the transfer function by data acquisition and calculation, and based on this, the response of the spatial HEMP double exponential waveform data is simulated by the bounded wave simulator, and the response data are compared with the effect data of the whip antenna in the bounded wave simulator. The results further verify the scientificity and effectiveness of continuous wave in the study of strong electromagnetic pulse effect. Meanwhile, the experiment also provides effective support for the research and application of continuous wave system in the field of HEMP.
