Abstract

This article identifies the factors that promote Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystems (SEEs) in the state of Querétaro based on the theory of Entrepreneurship Ecosystems (EE). This theory explains that SEEs develop in strengthened EEs and that EEs thrive in regions with resources. From a qualitative methodology, the factors for the development of the SEEs in Querétaro are analyzed. The main findings show that the SEE are incipient and requires the promotion of holistic measures to emerge properly. The relevance of the study lies in deepening the knowledge of regional EEs and the SEEs in Mexico and Latin America.
