Abstract

The development of the culinary business in Indonesia, accompanied by technological advancements in mobile devices, has increased mobility of consumer activities so that the location and location of eating places appear quickly and easily. This study aims to develop applications that can help consumers find information and culinary locations and Halal Culinary Reservations in Kota Rantauprapat on Android mobile devices. This messaging service application for food is an application with a mobile device that provides a culinary ordering process in the city of Rantauprapat which aims to simplify and optimize the delivery of food delivery services at culinary in Rantauprapat City. The food menu is equipped with an image display and a price list that matches the type of food available. The food delivery process is done manually by the courier on duty. Thus customers who use this system can more easily carry out the order process. The results of this study are in the form of an application called "Glugur.com" on an Android-based mobile device that can display the results of information searches and locations where culinary delights can be desired by consumers. The conclusion of this study is that the application of "Glugur" can help consumers get information and locations of culinary places and reservations without having to leave the house or leave the office.
