ANALISIS SISTEM DINAMIK KETERSEDIAAN BAJA TULANGAN SEBAGAI INFRASTRUKTUR (Studi Kasus: Kota Cilegon )

Abstract

The availability of good infrastructure is one of the main factors to push the economy of a country. The cause of the low competitiveness and inhibiton of economic growth acceleration is inadequate infrastructure availability. The availability of material that enables to achieve this condition is steel. Development of the use of steel materials in the steel construction in the country has progressed rapidly. The use of steel profile on tall building, the construction of bridges with long landscape, electrical towers, and so on. In Banten Province, thereare some biggest steel profile suppliers manufactory, such asPT Krakatau Wajatama which is located in Cilegon. In order to meet these needs, it could be done by conducting a study and taking a policy with simulation technique to meet the needs of steel profile in Cilegon in the future. One of the methods to do so isby applying dynamic approach system. The system-forming factor are production and consumption, then the casuality between each factorsare observed using causal loop diagram, and the last one, model is formulated to discern the model behaviour and do the validation test. Based on the results of modeling and simulation, policy scenario is established to foresee supplies. According to the analysis, it is discovered that the production and consumption of steel profile in Cilegon in 2006-2025 is fluctuant, it means there is an increase and decrease, however PT. Krakatau Wajatama can still meet the needs of steel profile in Cilegon because of the construction of infrastructure project in Cilegonis pretty low so that demand or consumption of steel profile are relatively small. This can be concluded that there is no need for the addition of steel profile manufactory in Cilegon.
