Abstract

PEM has come a long way from the 'night clinics' of 1947 with 511 annual patient visits (Table 2). Sixty years later, PEM in Canada has achieved full status as an academic subspecialty, excelling in research, education and clinical care at a level of excellence that is comparable with any of the other subspecialties. ©2007 Pulsus Group Inc.
