Abstract
This paper describes an experience of health education that used a virtual learning environment as its support. It puts forward an analysis on the possibilities offered by the distance learning method for forming networks and increasing the protagonist- learning process. Based on the concept of continuing healthcare education and on institutional analysis and network studies, this experience of an intervention course that operated as a trigger for conversation networks has made it possible to consider network communication as a tool for bringing out the potential of the guiding principals of the National Humanization Policy (PNH).
