Abstract

Data are presented on the capture and examination of 37 phyllosome larvae and nine juveniles of spiny lobster, Panulirus interruptus (Randall), in central west coast of Baja California. Larvae were in stages X and XI; some of their most distinctive morphological characteristics are included. A tentative sex determination of juveniles was made. The occurrence of larvae and juvenile is related with the known spawning season of lobster in the area
