Abstract

While the analysis of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a longstanding topic of great and ongoing interest, the development of its international aspect is still nascent. Our understanding of international CSR appears to lag behind the need for new insights to guide management practice, government policy development and academic research. Therefore, this book is devoted to improving our understanding of international CSR. The underlying goal of this volume is to create an essential original reference tool for researchers and students in the field, as well as to provide a venue to highly informed non-academic voices that are often not heard (i.e., senior managers of non-governmental organizations that are directly engaged in this topic).
