This study aiming For analyze How revitalization system bawon can used as an empowerment strategy power Work local in framework Islamic economy in Dukuh Kemuning, Semampir Village Subdistrict English Regency Banjarnegara . System full of bawon with values wisdom local such as mutual cooperation and solidarity , have potential big For create empowerment a fair and inclusive economy in accordance with sharia principles . Research This use approach qualitative through studies case with technique observation , interview in-depth , and review documents to explore dynamics revitalization bawon as well as its relevance with Islamic economics . Findings show that effort revitalization system bawon capable strengthen independence economy public local through internalization values culture and utilization institution finance micro sharia based community . Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis to explore the socio-economic significance of bawon and its alignment with Islamic economic values. The bawon system, which reflects local wisdom rooted in mutual cooperation (gotong royong), social justice, and communal solidarity, demonstrates potential as a sustainable labor empowerment model consistent with sharia principles. The findings reveal that revitalizing bawon contributes to strengthening local economic resilience by integrating cultural practices with Islamic microfinance initiatives. The study concludes that an inclusive and adaptive empowerment model is essential one that harmonizes Islamic economic values with cultural heritage to respond effectively to contemporary socio-economic challenges.
