Abstract

Nurse practitioners are vital in delivering holistic patient care, and integrating music therapy can significantly benefit individuals with various medical conditions. Recognized for promoting physical, emotional, and behavioral rehabilitation, music therapy helps reduce stress and anxiety, regulate physiologic indicators such as blood pressure, and alleviate pain. Its positive effects extend beyond comfort, making it a valuable complement to standard treatments. Financial considerations, including session costs and inconsistent insurance coverage, can impact access. Strategies such as sliding scale fees and community resources enhance affordability, making it essential for health care providers to advocate for patient access to this effective therapeutic option.
