Abstract

Pedagogical teacher competence is a professional competency that must be possessed by every teacher. In Indonesia, pedagogical competence is recommended both from a juridical perspective according to scientific and theoretical disciplines that provide a good learning experience for students. However, the Indonesian's curriculum who's change physics, chemistry, and biology into science in junior high school has not fulfilled two essential perspectives on pedagogical competence. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, in theory, has a relationship with the elements in pedagogic competence. TPACK is a preparation before conducting learning to improve pedagogical competence for science teachers who are approved to use the authentic assessment. Two studies were conducted by the One-Shot Case Study design in Study 1 and study 2 used Single-Group Interrupted Time-Series Design. The results of the study involving 13 science teachers from purposive sampling with 5,213 teachers showed Study 1 with a score of 73.3 in the range 0-100. Study 2 shows an increase in the logit value of Rasch modeling in the range (-1.23) - 2.45, and the gain value in the 0.38 questionnaire and observation sheet 0.44. In general, the TPACK learning media based website increases the competency of integrated science teacher pedagogy as the teacher preparation before learning in the classroom.
