Abstract

The new product development process is of crucial importance for many organizations' survival. Many graduate programs in Brazil teach the subject in a non-applied. This article describes the experience in teaching the subject of new product development (NPD) through empirical research and, as a result, presents a proposal for teaching NPD integrated with other subjects.
