Abstract

The most dangerous form of skin cancer, malignant melanoma, has a high mortality rate, and Australia is the country with the highest rate of MM in the world. The incidence of skin cancer can be effectively reduced by educating the public about the harmful effects of the sun and learning and adopting behaviors to protect themselves from the sun, with nurses playing an important role.
