Abstract
The B-lymphotropic virus Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) has been implicated in the pathogenesis of B-cell malignancies, particularly in immunodeficient individuals. This review provides a brief overview of the EBV-encoded proteins involved in B-cell transformation, and the current state of knowledge about their roles in this process. © 2002 Éditions scientifiques et médicales Elsevier SAS.
