Abstract

O presente artigo propõe uma análise ao conceito de socialização, à luz de Émile Durkheim e Peter Berger, compreendendo-o como um fenômeno social e coletivo vinculado ao processo de conhecimento do indivíduo e inserção no mundo social. O objetivo é compreender como os processos sociais moldam a formação do sujeito e de que maneira a sociedade, em suas diversas formas de organização e coesão, estrutura as bases da subjetividade. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, com abordagem bibliográfica e teórico-conceitual, fundamentada na leitura e interpretação das obras clássicas dos autores referidos. Como resultado, o trabalho evidencia que a subjetividade individual é indissociável das estruturas sociais que a produzem, destacando o papel central da socialização na constituição do ser social.This article explores the concept of socialization through the perspectives of Émile Durkheim and Peter Berger, understanding it as a social and collective phenomenon tied to the individual’s process of acquiring knowledge and integrating into the social world. The objective is to examine how social processes shape the formation of the subject and how society, in its various forms of organization and cohesion, structures the foundations of subjectivity. The research is qualitative in nature, with a bibliographic and theoretical-conceptual approach, grounded in the reading and interpretation of the classical works of the aforementioned authors. As a result, the study demonstrates that individual subjectivity is inseparable from the social structures that produce it, highlighting the central role of socialization in the constitution of the social being.
