Abstract

The research objectives were: 1) To determine the factors of production in paddy rice farming. 2) To find out the utilization of the production factors in paddy rice farming.In addition, the research method used interviews, observation, and questionnaires. While the data analysis was done through multiple linear analysis, income analysis, and Cobb-Douglas production function analysis. The findings revealed that 1) Paddy rice farmers in Boliyohuto Subdistrict must continue to use paddy rice production inputs because the use of existing production inputs simultaneously can affect their income. 2) Based on the research finding, it was noticeable that a standard in the use of production factors is required so that farmer can produce optimal production and gain maximum profit. 3) The role of agriculture extension officers who understand the proper allocation of production factors is needed so that the farmers can gain optimal production and maximum profit.
