Abstract
A 14 year old boy presented with a painful hip, initially attributed to Perthe's disease although it is uncommon in teenagers. Subsequent investigation showed that the underlying pathology was non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. © The Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine, 1988.
