Geoprocessamento como ferramenta no licenciamento ambiental de postos de combustíveis

Abstract

A Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável (SEMADES) tem dado especial atenção ao monitoramento de atividades que possuam alto potencial poluidor com o propósito de se avançar na preservação da qualidade ambiental. Assim, este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar a aplicação de geotecnologias como ferramenta na tomada de decisões no gerenciamento e monitoramento ambiental de postos de combustíveis localizados no município de Campo Grande - MS. Para tanto, foi realizada a espacialização dos postos de combustíveis e levantamento das condições ambientais de cada posto, além de terem sido realizados cruzamentos com a hidrografia, Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APP) e a carta geotécnica do município. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que as técnicas de geoprocessamento utilizadas poderão auxiliar a SEMADES no controle, monitoramento e tomada de decisão no Licenciamento Ambiental de postos de combustíveis, podendo também ser aplicadas a outras atividades licenciadas.The City Department of Environment and Sustainable Development (SEMADES, acronym in portuguese) has paid special attention to the monitoring of the environmental quality, mainly in the monitoring of activities that have high polluting potential. So, this work aims to avaluate the application of geotechnologies as a tool in the taking of decisions at the management and environmental monitoring of gas stations located at the Municipal District of Campo Grande - MS. For such, a spatialization of the gas station was made and the environmetal conditions of each gas station were surveyed, Also crossings with the hydrography, Areas of Permanent Preservation (APP) and the Geotechnical letter of the Municipal District have been carried through. The results had demonstrated that the used geoprocessing techniques will be able to assist the SEMADES at the control, monitoring and taking of decision in the Environmental licensing of gas stations, this can also be applied to other licensed activities.
