Abstract

In the article was held a critical discussion on the challenges facing the cooling system of thermal engines in the light of modern requirements. These issues are directly related to new tendencies in the construction of internal combustion engines, including those concerning increasing unit power, application of the Atkinson and Miller theoretical cycles, and cooperation of heat engines with electric machines.
