Abstract

The current emphasis on individuals developing and maintaining an aerobic lifestyle provides many advantages. However the utilization of oxygen by cells results in the production of high reactive free-radical products such as superoxide anion radical, hydroxyl radical, hydrogen peroxide and singlet molecular oxygen.
