Abstract

This umbrella review allows us to know how psychomotricity has been evaluated through the different scales that have been used in psychomotor practice in Early Childhood Education, the objective of the review being to classify these motor evaluation tools. The tests have been used as instruments to assess different aspects of the psychomotor structure and have been used to screen, diagnose, evaluate or supervise the child population for the early detection of any motor deterioration. For the writing of the review, the protocols of the PRISMA 2020 declaration will be indicated. The results of 8 significant reviews will be identified through a systemic search in WOS, ERIC, PUBMED, SCIELO and academic google. 50 tests are classified according to their typology (screening and/or diagnosis and evaluation and/or supervision), the age at which it is directed (sensorimotor period and preoperational period) and the type of developmental functions evaluated (neurodevelopment and gross motor development and/or fine). The legitimacy of psychometric tests is discussed and their characteristics, functions and abilities evaluated are analyzed.
