Abstract

Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) was used as a green and reusable catalyst in order to synthesized two important cat-egories of heterocycles, 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-ones and 3,4-dihy-dropyrimidin-2-thiones. The advantages of our method are as follow: short reaction times, green process, reduced environmental hazards and high isolated yield of products.
