Abstract
The operating parameters of the air heat exchanger used at the stage of cooling the butadiene fraction in the production of methyl tert-butyl ether are analyzed. The insufficient efficiency of its operation in the summer period has been revealed. The solution is to make changes to the design of the heat exchanger or to install an air heat exchanger with a larger heat transfer surface.
